Photographic Prints

I have had the privilege to travel to some interesting places and discovered that the world is a photographer’s paradise. I did a 5 day residential course in France to increase my photography skills and went on to put on exhibitions in Hertfordshire and the New Forest. Below are just some of the prints available. Camel train, Petra, JordanCamel train, Petra, JordanHeading into the depths of Petra, Jordan, these colourful camels speak of adventure to me   Rugs by the Red SeaRugs by the Red Sea   Shishas in the SinaiShishas in the SinaiTravelling across the Sinai desert, we stopped midway at the only cafe in a tiny town. These shishas were lined in a row, with colour, shape and texture just calling out to me to take their picture!   Viewpoint, Petra, JordanViewpoint, Petra, JordanReaching a pinnacle viewpoint at Petra, Jordan, I loved these signs and the sense of texture that comes together with the rocks.

Ancient steps, Petra, JordanAncient steps, Petra, JordanPetra, Jordan.. an ancient city with an indigenous tribe that was only discovered in recent years and now made famous through movies such as Indiana Jones. I literally only had seconds to take this photo, but it is one that I have stared at for hours since. The rock has so much character in its form, textures and richness of colours. The steps, worn over the years by the countless people that have passed by this way, make me think of the fascinating history that must lie hidden in this place... and by walking on this steps, I too have become part of their history. The light shines through the opening in the rocks in such a way that beckons the traveller to come through and explore the unknown vistas that lie ahead. It makes me think about life and how sometimes we face unknown pathways, but just a few steps forward can open up whole new realms of opportunity for us ... the light beckons us to come!   Tree RootsTree Roots   Dappled sunlightDappled sunlightDappled sunlight in Morocco
