Exhibition Day 1: This is the photo that inspired me to put on an exhibition at the Old Town Hall. I was wandering through the Old Town with camera in hand and my eyes caught the sight of how the gates were being reflected in the glass sign. Once I'd taken a photo or two of it (I always take more than one photo so I can choose the best of them!), I then noticed that there was an exhibition on in the cafe and so went up to see it. A quick chat with the staff there then resulted in me showing my images to them and being offered the opportunity to put on an exhibition. It's so exciting to now be able to say that this is the first day of that exhibition. We had such a perfect day yesterday as we set up. There was no frost or rain and it wasn't even cold as we loaded up the car with all the frames and countless bags of other bits and pieces with things like hammers, nails, spirit levels, blutack and much more that would come in useful. I had an awesome team to help me who made the day so enjoyable and made the exhibition look fantastic. While we were putting it up, the Old Town Hall staff were putting up Christmas decorations, so there was a wonderfully festive atmosphere. The photos are in the cafe - do come along if you're in the area, and enjoy the delights of Hemel over a nice cuppa.
